Oklahoma man dies after struck by vehicle on Grady County highway overnight

GRADY COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – An Anadarko man was trying to load a vehicle onto a car dolly overnight in Grady County when he was struck by another vehicle and killed.

Artemio Moreno, 77, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Oklahoma Highway 37, within a mile east of County Road 2860 and two miles east of Minco, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol news release.

Wayne County to gain 96 new jobs from Automotive Exhaust Maker

WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Gov. Roy Cooper announced Wednesday, an automotive exhaust manufacturer will create 96 new jobs in Wayne County.

AP Emissions Technologies will invest $400,000 to expand its e-commerce operations in Goldsboro.

Three vehicle injures man, causes delays at major Indian River County intersection

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A crash involving three vehicles injured one man and closed several lanes of a major county intersection just before rush hour Tuesday.

The crash was just before 4:30 p.m. on 66th Avenue at the intersection of State Road 60 west of Indian River Mall.

Indian River County Sheriff’s Office deputies directed traffic through the intersection while Indian River County Fire Rescue crews removed debris and checked on six people from the three vehicles.

Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke said one man was taken to Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital with minor injuries for evaluation.

Truck wanted after hitting bicycle and injuring cyclist in Cherokee County, troopers say

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are looking for a truck that troopers say hit a bicycle.They said it happened about 5:15 p.m. on March 23 on Dillon Street in Cherokee County. The bicyclist sustained serious injuries, troopers said. Troopers said they are looking for a 1994 – 2002 Dodge pickup. The color is not known. It may be a regular cab or extended cab, troopers said. County to host inaugural “Tour de Hunter Mill” bicycle ride on May 1

This May, bicyclists will get a chance to pedal around Hunter Mill District with Fairfax County Supervisor Walter Alcorn.

Fairfax County is planning its inaugural “Tour de Hunter Mill” for May 1 starting at 8:30 a.m. Alcorn will host the scenic bicycle tour of the district that he represents.

“This will allow people to explore parts of Hunter Mill District that they haven’t before,” Alcorn said on a call with reporters talking about the event.
